Rock City Café began its life in 1992 as Second Read Books & Coffee. As the first coffeehouse/bookstore in Maine, it quickly
became an anchor of the downtown cultural scene. Featuring used and new books and a busy coffeehouse, Rock City Café
is a gathering place for conversation, meetings, readings, discussion groups, lunch, art and music. .
Lunch served Monday through Saturday 11:00am - 3:00pm
Dinner served Thursday through Saturday 5:00pm - 9:00pm
Sunday Brunch served 10:00am - 2:00pm
