Rock City Café

Rock City Café began its life in 1992 as Second Read Books & Coffee. As the first coffeehouse/bookstore in Maine, it quickly
became an anchor of the downtown cultural scene. A busy coffeehouse, Rock City Café
became a gathering place for conversation, meetings, readings, discussion groups, lunch, art and music.
The bookstore is now a separate entity with a new name,
hello hello books. It is
adjacent to the cafe and is the best indie bookstore around.
The café, of course, remains the place to go for great coffee, great food, and great conversation.
Lunch served all week 11:00am - 3:00pm
